evident in some pieces. Nora works in a range of media – enjoying the varied qualities of oil, watercolour and gouache painting, and frequently using combined media to achieve the desired quality. Acrylics are a favourite. Recently her skills have been extended to include techniques of Icon painting and stained glass work. Work in this medium involves using the original colour pigments in their powdered form combined with prepared egg yolk to create a working consistency with which to paint.
