BOOK FINES UPDATE!!

Since West Northamptonshire Council were required to close library buildings in March 2020 to comply with Government Covid-19 requirements, late return charges and fees have been suspended. However, as libraries across the county have now restored their normal business hours, late return charges for items will be re-instated from Monday 2 August 2021.

To allow for the return of any long overdue items, without penalty, there will be an amnesty for the month of July 2021. Any items returned during this time will incur no charges, even if they were overdue before the libraries closed in March 2020.

Step into the World of Books

Hermione Granger and her pals knew a thing or two about libraries… “When in doubt go to the library…“ So why not join our Library or visit us for social groups and activities? If you are isolating or unable to visit us in person you can still complete the form on our Select and Collect page. Can You Help Us?

Do you have any unwanted musical instruments suitable for children aged 5 or younger?

Rhyme Time has resumed for young children from Thursday 6th May and to ensure Covid-19 safety we want to rotate the musical instruments we use. This means we need to build up our collection.

If you do have any, please kindly drop them into the library during opening hours. Thank You!

Gardens Project Boost

We are delighted that our Recovery Gardens project has received a grant of £5,550 from the People’s Postcode Lottery Postcode Neighbourhood Trust.  This project incorporates improvements to the Library’s outside spaces which are: the Courtyard garden, the Market Square garden and the area around our car park.

Re-Opening Reminder

Apologies if our website has been misleading. Please be aware that we are, as with all facilities countrywide, subject to government restrictions and therefore cannot open to visitors during the current lockdown. We have added a date to our opening times for book browsing and computer use/printing availability but this may be subject to change. We will update when we know more.
