Gardens Project Boost

We are delighted that our Recovery Gardens project has received a grant of £5,550 from the People’s Postcode Lottery Postcode Neighbourhood Trust.  This project incorporates improvements to the Library’s outside spaces which are: the Courtyard garden, the Market Square garden and the area around our car park.

This grant will go towards making these spaces more attractive and accessible for everyone as part of the post pandemic healing in Long Buckby. With landscaping, additional seating and replanting, these areas will provide a space for our library and hub users as well as all members of our community to associate safely in the centre of the village and will contribute to a better environment. The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
