Dispelling some of the myths about the damage to our environment from agriculture. Are important species such as bees under serious threat? Can oysters save the world? Which species really threaten our children’s futures?

Is there anything you would like to raise with your Parish Council? Please come along to Buckby Library & Hub on the last Saturday of each month, 10am to 11am, to meet representatives.
We are delighted to say that we now have an Induction Loop System throughout the Library to assist hearing aid users with the T position. We also have a portable hearing loop that sits on our reception desk and an additional one that can be taken to any part of the building to be used in one to one or very small

Come along to see your very own local Long Buckby Ukulele Group perform at Buckby Library & Hub on Thursday 7th April, 7.30pm to 9pm. It’s FREE too! A bit about me…..I suppose I have always enjoyed drawing. But to give attention to a future life as a biologist or medical man it was a necessary but sad decision to drop it as a school subject. From about the age of 10 I used to sketch ….
Last year we developed a plan to transform our greenspaces into areas that are equally welcoming to everyone of all ages and abilities and that help to improve our environment. Our Recovery Gardens Project was born.
Did you know we now have daily local and national newspapers available for you to enjoy when you visit us. We will also be adding various publications. Come on in and grab a cuppa too!
